Texas Chainsaw Massacre - trailer

My goal was to capture the essence of the movie using the narration as a through line. The structure is a long build up that culminates with the name drop of the movie juxtaposed with the flashes of light and eye.

Conveying the dread in a subtle way is key to this trailer. The audio keeps increasing along with the suspense, then cue the narrator. The sudden shift to silence besides his voice is supposed to be off putting; it leaves you alone with the character, who's clearly in a bad situation. I want you to feel the same dread she is feeling.
